Artist's Comments

The small bottles, only a few inches tall, were being thrown out of the lab I work in a few months ago. We can only assume they were old chemical bottles, saved by someone, then given to us. I took a box full home, while the rest were thrown out.

I had seen decorative vine starters years ago in a gift store I worked at, and the thought came to me a few nights ago. So a trip to Michaels found my some iridescent glass paints, some wire, and I had the gemstones already. Then I just got creative, doing what came out of my head and hands.

I quite like them as decorative pieces. I may even use them as elemental offering pieces. For now, they hang at the corner of my living room windows.

You have done jewelry work before, have any ideas or suggestions?

I have not, but would like to learn at some point. I'll let you know if something comes to me. :)
